deWintons catered for an evening reception in the middle of December for 120 guests, set against the classic surroundings of Kings College School, Wimbledon. Boy was it a cold night, what a challenge that was for the deWintons catering team to get everything in & out with the icy conditions.
The traditional, wood panelled rooms provided a stately backdrop for the lavish, seated dinner, themed in festive red and white. Guests were served spiced, mulled wine in the Hall which was lit by tens of twinkling Christmas trees, followed by steaming mini Cottage pies, classic mini sausages in mustard & honey. Guests were then seated for an extravagant three course dinner with a lovely winter warmer, slow roast belly of pork on a crisp celeriac rosti.
Lastly guests were treated to an indulgent triple chocolate marquis, just divine.
