Sotherton Semillon Sauvignon Blanc 2010, South Eastern Australia
This gem from South-Eastern Australia is simply fantastic. The wine is really fresh and vibrant and with a high proportion of the prized Hunter Valley Semillon it has a beautiful balance of fresh aromatics and honeyed fruit.
Villa du Clos Viognier 2010, Languedoc, France
Possibly the perfect drinks party white and a great, universally likeable wine with lovely texture and slightly aromatic and flowery nose and delicious, delicate stone-fruit flavours of peaches and apricots.
Blenheim Point Sauvignon Blanc 2010 Marlborough Valley, N.Z.
Blenheim Point's Sauvignon is intensely fruity & concentrated with classic New World Sauvignon flavours of gooseberry, greengages & lychees. The wine is vivid, ultra refreshing with crisp, clean acidity & is perfect on its own or with rich fish dishes like Smoked Salmon or shellfish and spicy West Indian food or Chinese.
Lugana Trebianno 2010, Tenuta Roveglia, Italy

Chablis 2010, Domaine Louis Robin, France
You could almost believe that this cracking wine was a Premier Cru. A modern, voluptuous wine packed with fresh fruit layered with mineral and spice giving it a fantastic smoky finish.
Sancerre 2009, Domaine Tinel-Blondelet, Loire, France
A bright French classic with a beautiful balance of fine acidity and fresh fruit. The vibrant palate sings in perfect harmony with a long lasting finish.
Maison de la Paix Reserve Cabernet Syrah 2009, l'Herault, France
This ravishingly seductive wine is packed with redcurrant flavours from the Syrah and then blackcurrant from the Cabernet all beautifully complimented by lashings of toasty oak flavours.
Sotherton Shiraz Viognier 2007, South Eastern Australia
The huge strength of the Aussie dollar has made Australian wine look rather pricey recently, so we're really proud to have found Sotherton, and more specifically this tremendous red. It has terrific depth, with rich, ripe, complex fruit given an aromatic lift by the addition of a little Viognier – an antipodean mini-Côte-Rôtie.
La Chamiza 'Polo Amateur' Malbec 2010, Mendoza, Argentina
A little-used and long-ignored variety in Bordeaux, this grape is the mainstay of Cahors but in Argentina it has found it's true home. Black fruit and silky spice give way to black cherries, dark chocolate and even a hint of Rhubarb in this classic example.
The Charge 2008, Rioja, Spain
This is a powerful, modern, sexy, dark and concentrated kind of New World style of Tempranillo Grenache & Graciano blend crammed with sweet black fruit flavours with tones of spicy chocolate.
Bourgogne Pinot Noir 'Vieilles Vignes' 2007, domaine Raphael Dubois, France
Delicious, extraordinarily pretty and fine Pinot Noir with gentle, refreshing red berry and mulberry fruit. It's possibly THE perfect summer drinking red.
Château Haut-Veyrac 2005, Saint-Emilion Grand Cru, Bordeaux, France
Haut-Veyrac 2005 really does deliver with lovely concentration of black fruits, a spectacular texture, ultra supple tannins and very good length….was 2005 the greatest vintage ever in Bordeaux?
Canon des Anges Grenache & Cinsault 2010, Pays d'Oc, France
While putting together our new Canon des Anges wines we tried a pale, limpid Cinsault and then a crushed berry Opal Fruit bomb of a Syrah that was over the top and borderline New World, but, blend the two together 60/40 and, WOW, have we made one smackingly good pink here! It's leaning towards mid-pink, with strawberry on the nose, a light, delicate weight but with raspberry and a little blackcurrant too.
Pinot Grigio Rosato Sentito 2010, Veneto, Italy
This is aromatic and pure, a delicately presented glass of stone and red summer fruits with a touch of pink grapefruit.
Mon Rosé de Montrose 2010, Pays d'Oc, France
The 2010 vintage of Mon Rosé is right up there with the best. Mainly Grenache, but with generous additions of Cabernet Sauvignon and Syrah, this has a lovely freshness on the nose while the palate has strikingly pure strawberry fruit and really good length.
